HOW IN OUR SOCIETY ARE WE INFLUENCED BY OUR MEDIA, ADVERTISEMENTS, AND OTHER FORMS OF PROPAGANDA WE ARE CONSTANTLY BOMBARDED BY ??????

The youth are influenced on what they see on the internet. Listening to certain music, watching certain movies, shows and videos on the internet can shape our personalities. For example, Molly is watching her favorite tv show and her favorite character is wearing this blue ruffle dress. Molly wants a blue ruffle dress because her favorite character is wearing it. What the media puts on show for everyone can distract us from our real problems. "BREAKING NEWS: KYLIE JENNER AND FIANCE??!!??" Headlines like those distract people from real problems like unemployment and poverty. We are highly encouraged to keep buying and buying. Environment friendly people on the other hand, not so much. They don't want us to keep buying things we don't need and will probably stop using in less than a year. Some companies might have make their products cheap so that consumers will have to buy the next version and keep buying, This is good for the companies because they're making money. Not so much for the planet. Cause when something is broken or not good to use or we have the better version, we throw it away. We have to keep breaking down the waste so that we have more room for more waste.  Some things are hard to break down and will probably never be broken down for a very long time. Another example, is we are attracted to things that are aesthetically appealing to our eyes. Ads use this technique to attract consumers. They use celebrities for their advertisement or the latest trends.
